About Florida Keys RV Rentals

Reviewed by Ben Kiser, RV rental operator and fleet consultant.

This site helps you find an RV on Outdoorsy that can get to your Keys campsite and fit on it. In the Keys that means a host who will drive that far, a rig short enough for the loop you booked, and a site booked before the RV. It does not rent you the RV. The host does.

Protection plans and roadside assistance above are Outdoorsy's, offered at checkout on eligible bookings and subject to its terms. This site provides neither.

What this is

A finder, and nothing more than that

Florida Keys RV Rentals is a referral site. It points at listings on Outdoorsy and tells you which campground rule or county rule each one is about to meet. Some links are affiliate links, so a booking made after following one earns this site a commission from the marketplace. The marketplace pays it, and it adds nothing to your price.

It owns no RVs. It employs no drivers. It does not deliver, set up, hand over, clean or recover a vehicle. It does not insure anything and takes no payments. It is not a campground and cannot book you a site. It is not affiliated with Florida State Parks, Monroe County, the City of Key West, FDOT or the Florida Department of Revenue.

Hosts deliver for a fee they set themselves. Of the RVs that can reach the Keys, 98.8% offer it. That is the host's service, arranged on the host's listing.

There is no phone number, because there is no answered line. Email reaches a person: info@flkeysrvrental.com.

How the pages get written

Primary sources only

Campground limits come from Florida State Parks, its reservation system, and each private campground's own pages. County and city rules come from the codes themselves. Tax comes from the Florida Statutes.

The market gets measured

One paginated pull of the Outdoorsy search API within 100 miles of Marathon, joined to each host's published delivery radius. Every fleet figure on this site comes from that single run, so the numbers agree with each other.

Silence is published as silence

Most Keys campgrounds say nothing about delivered rentals. Where a source says nothing, the page says so and names who to ask. No plausible number is put in the gap.

Conflicts are printed in full

Pennekamp's park page says most sites take 40 ft; the reservation system lists 62. Both are printed, and the page tells you who settles it.

The market, measured

What the Keys market actually looks like

The measurement is the 144 Outdoorsy listings within 100 miles of Marathon, every one of them, in a single pull. Nothing is sampled and nothing is estimated. Anything computed decays, so it gets re-measured.

Why the site exists

Three things most Keys RV advice skips

The RVs are on the mainland

Almost every RV you can rent for the Keys is kept in Miami or Homestead. Only 2 Outdoorsy RVs were based in the Keys. What decides your choice is how far each host will drive.

The site comes first

Florida residents can book state park sites 11 months ahead, everyone else 10. Stays cap at 14 nights. No source we found permits overnight RV parking outside a campground: Monroe County bars camping on the US-1 right of way at night and on county property, and Key West bars sleeping in a vehicle on public property.

Visitors leave first in a storm

Monroe County's hurricane plan orders visitors, RVs and travel trailers out first, about 48 hours before tropical-storm winds, for a major hurricane. The only copy we found is a November 2025 draft amendment.

Who reviews this

Ben Kiser reviews these pages

Ben Kiser, RV rental operator and fleet consultant, reviews the pages on this site. He has held ownership in rental locations across the United States, has sold locations, and consults for operators nationwide. He reads them as somebody who places units for a living: do the campground limits, delivery terms and figures hold up?

What that credit is not. The campground limits and tax figures are cited to Florida State Parks, the campgrounds, the county and city codes and the Florida Statutes on the pages that use them, so you can check any of them yourself. A review is a read of a published page, not advice on your own booking, lease or tax position. Editorial responsibility stays with the publisher, and the legal pages carry no reviewer credit.

Got a campsite booked?

Then you are ahead of most people. Find the RVs whose host delivers that far, short enough for your loop.
